Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with Daisy Mud Pie, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

  1. Order Confirmation and Payments
    All orders require either a deposit or full payment to be confirmed. The balance must be paid in full the day before or at the time of collection or delivery.

  2. Changes and Cancellations
    If you need to change the date of your cake order and this does not fit within our business schedule, or if you need to cancel your order, please note that the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you provide more than two weeks’ notice, you may reschedule your order, and the deposit will be transferred to the new booking.

  3. Delivery Information
    Our hand delivery times are between 10 AM and 5 PM, unless otherwise specified. Not all orders can be delivered due to our business schedule. Please contact us in advance to confirm that your cake can be delivered within your requested timeframe.
    Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery, as we will not leave the cake unattended. If no one is available to accept delivery, the cake will be returned to us, and you will be notified of the collection times.

  4. Collection Information
    It is important to adhere to your scheduled collection time. If you fail to collect your cake within the designated time slot, you may need to wait until the following day for collection. In this case, full payment will still be required, and no refund or discount will be given for the missed collection time.

  5. Photography and Social Media
    We reserve the right to take photos of your cake during the creation and decoration process. These photos may be shared on our social media platforms. If you would like a professional photo of your cake, we can provide this upon request. Please note that we do not publish or share photos of your cake before it has been collected.

  6. Design Changes
    Last-minute changes to the cake design, including complete design alterations, color adjustments, topper changes, or flavor modifications, may not always be possible.
    If you provide reference images that are not our own designs, we will interpret the design in our style, and your final design will be confirmed in writing. Please ensure you are happy with the design description, as this will be the basis for your final cake. To ensure expectations are met, we recommend selecting a design that we have previously created.

  7. Color and Design Limitations
    While we always strive to match the colors and design as closely as possible to your request, edible food colors and icing may not always perfectly align with your color scheme. We will do our best to match, but please note that some color variations are unavoidable.

  8. Returns and Refunds
    As all our cakes, cupcakes, and bakery items are made to order, we do not accept returns. Refunds, credit notes, or replacement orders will only be issued if the incorrect product is delivered or if the product is of unsatisfactory quality.
    If your cake does not meet the agreed-upon design or quality expectations, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt to discuss the issue. We will not accept liability for complaints made after this period. Please note that once the cake has been consumed, no refunds will be issued.
    Once the cake has left our premises, it is your responsibility to handle it with care. Cakes should not be left in direct sunlight and should be stored in a cool, dark place. Cakes should be consumed within 5 days of collection.

  9. Allergens
    Our kitchen works with a variety of ingredients, including all 14 main allergens. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. Allergen information will be provided on your cake box, with ingredients and allergens listed in bold to help you make an informed decision about whether the product is suitable for you.

  10. Force Majeure
    Daisy Mud Pie will not be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or issues with third-party suppliers.

  11. Liability Disclaimer
    Once the cake has been collected or delivered, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure it is kept in proper condition. Daisy Mud Pie is not liable for any damages, accidents, or allergic reactions that occur once the product is in the customer's possession.

  12. Intellectual Property
    All cake designs, logos, and recipes are the intellectual property of Daisy Mud Pie and are protected by copyright law. Any reproduction, distribution, or use of these designs without prior written consent is prohibited.

  13. Late Payments
    Any payments not received by the agreed-upon date will incur a late fee of [insert amount/percentage]. If payment is not made within [insert timeframe], we reserve the right to cancel the order and retain the deposit.

  14. Right to Refuse Service
    Daisy Mud Pie reserves the right to refuse service to any customer for any reason, including but not limited to unreasonable requests, offensive behavior, or failure to meet our terms and conditions.

  15. Amendment of Terms
    Daisy Mud Pie reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers and will be effective immediately upon posting.
